Boyfriend picked out a nice place for us to stay in Tucson. See the orange flowers? When Mouse and Boyfriend get rich,* they will buy a
casita with an interior courtyard and will plant it full of orange trees and night-blooming jasmine, so the air is always fragrant. Won't that be lovely? There will also be tacos
al pastor and margaritas,** if you'd like to stop by.

Meanwhile, Mouse is still sick, but like the bees (who are drunk on the orange blossoms), she doesn't much mind, but just wanders around bumping into things and taking deep breaths of scented air. She would buzz if she weren't so sleepy.
Bzzzzz.
*What? It could happen.
** Salt, rocks, fresh lime juice, not too sweet.

I'll come by for a margarita! I take them exactly the same way you do, so we're on the same page.
Envious. SO envious.
Going to search high and low for a place in Maine that serves tacos al pastor for breakfast now...
Yes, please. Happy travels, bumbling bee.
YESSSSSS! I am so there. Sounds like a great time. I want to sniff an orange blossom or two.
Oh, that is one of the most divine smells. My grandmother has an orange tree at her house in Arizona and it right by the window of the room I stay in-one of the most divine scents!
Mmmm. Quelle fragrant post! Have a lovely time and hope you get your squeak back/feel better soon.
al pastor is my favorite. how did you know??
is this in the barrio? it looks like it. is it a rental house? please tell me. we always stay with ben's momma when we go. it would be fun to have our own place. i wish i were in tucson.
I have an aunt in Phoenix who has a backyard full of orange trees. They smell like heaven!
Also, I like jalepenos in my margaritas
J- tell me how to make this jalapeno margarita!
Also, the house is a long-term rental place called Belmar Apartments. It's cool but has some quirks you'd want to know about before booking. For instance, the mattress seems to be from circa 1962. But I love it anyway. Bright, airy, cheerful.
Also, not the barrio-a few blocks from the university. :)
