Hey nice mice, no blog until my Internet is back up. There was a fire at our neighbor's house that destroyed the cables and wires on our block. It was scary. I have stories. Nobody was hurt, and only one building was damaged, so lucky. Lucky.

Back up when they fix it.

Mouse

Okay, nice mice, thank you for your ideas on the "sharp" afternoon wedding. Want to weigh in on the options? Mouse really wants one of these ideas to work, because neither would involve buying stuff she can't afford. So, vote!

Left: Tailored J. Crew dress Mouse got for $18 on sale (with a little FLOWER, by the way), pale gold metallic flats, vintage white beaded purse.

Right: Flouncy dance-y dress with flowers painted on it (it has POCKETS, by the way), little cognac stacked-wood sandals, cognac clutch.

And then tell Mouse what do to about jewelry.

P.S.-Yes, I will post photos of the wedding and the other dresses that attend.

Ah! How did I miss this dress?! Michelle wore this yellow awesomeness to the Cinco de Mayo celebration at the White House.* I think this would totally count as "sharp." Shall I just call her up and see if I can borrow it?

Sigh, sigh. I do love her.

*How awesome is it that there is now a Cinco de Mayo celebration at the White House? Yep, that's right. Very awesome. Incredibly awesome.

Um. What does a Mouse wear to a "sharp" afternoon wedding in Martha's Vineyard? Help helpity help help. And please don't add to Mouse's mom's thing about having to wear a hat, sigh.

Here is a tiny cottage in Brazil. Boyfriend is going to Brazil and Mouse has to stay home because of stupid money. Boo hiss. But safe travels and happy fun to you, Boyfriend. I hope it is wonderful. Bring me home some sunshine.

Second bird-feeder, which Mouse made out of a Method soap bottle and a stick. Featured here in front of our neighbor's gorgeous plastic sheeting (sarcastic) and gorgeous lilac bush (for real). First bird-feeder in our much greener front yard here, how-to here.
Oh, seriously, how cute are they? Read about the first couple date night and then come tell me what you think of her little black dress. Also, Michelle and the girls in London, here.

Mouse is po' but wanted a new bird-feeder. I made this one out of an old plastic soap bottle. DIY instructions over here.
The blog may be up later, or tomorrow. Boyfriend is leaving on a trip, so we decided to have Sunday again today. He is making pancakes for Mouse right this very minute. Back soon, xo.
