For instance, to tide you over, there is a duck sitting right outside the door and watching me as I write this.

Mouse and Boyfriend's favorite place in Mexico City is Cafe la Blanca, which opened in 1915. It hasn't changed much. The men who work there (the same men, every time) wear long white coats like scientists. They take your order, but the ladies bring your food. The women wear matching shirt-dress uniforms, ruffled white aprons, and little crocheted doilies pinned on their heads. They make awesome food, not least the tray of pan dulce (that second photo) which arrives on your table and just sits there, tempting you...

Exciting news this week, nice mice! Lovely Yira over at Yira Prado Designs is doing a giveaway for Good Mouse, Bad Mouse.
