Choosing the Best Software for a Home Music Studio

January 24th, 2012

One of the most impressive things to come out of the modern Internet is increasingly more easy and available opportunities for artists of all types to get their work out at little to no cost. In the category of music production there are many choices, however if you’re looking for a full featured inexpensive program, DUB Turbo has become quite popular and is helping open doors for musical artists. Unlike other programs, though, this one offers video tutorials, so you’re not stuck with a program that you know can do what you want, but you can’t figure it out. Even just the introduction video is very informative and entertaining, and I would definitely consider it for a number of uses. A lot of people make quite a good profit on simply composing beats, bass lines, and simple melodies for sale. This is a useful product for other musical artists as well as filmmakers.

Excellent Collaboration with a Wedding Band Brisbane

January 18th, 2012

All event planners that worked with a wedding band Brisbane in the past related that when it comes to choosing the right entertainment solution for a wedding a live band from Brisbane is your best bet. The wedding bands from the Brisbane area are known to offer professional services and great entertainment at any type of party. Furthermore, one thing that makes them so wanted among the event planners is the excellent collaboration that they have with their contractors. The performers will work closely with you in order to make their performance better suit your needs. For example, if you have a certain type of guests at the wedding which call for a specific genre of music, the band will come up with a set list that will try to match all your guest’s musical tastes.

In the end, a wedding band Brisbane will always know how to take your wedding party to the next level because they will know what your guests want ant they know how to deliver it to them.

Become a Man of Dignified Culture, Listen to Rap

January 18th, 2012

I have to say I am a music junkie of sorts. I love it all, Classical to Hip Hop, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Hip hop, new age, reggae, easy listening, I love it all. But why, why do I love so many different styles of music. Music is an art form and like all true art forms it is a way to express oneself. By listening to music you can begin to understand one’s pains and struggles, and one’s joys and dreams. Give me 3 songs of any generation and I could tell you everything about the generation’s culture because it is all in the music. This is no truer than for the music from of Rap.

While not my favorite genre, rap is in many ways today’s poetry. It is complete with a definite rhyme scheme and has an ever flowing rhythm pattern. It speaks of loves and struggles and victories. It talks of dreams and discusses what could have been. It uses analogies and imagery to pull at ones heart, yeah this form of music is poetry and because I love poetry and anything of culture, I love this music.

There is a Lot of Violence

January 4th, 2012

My nephew has been trying to get me to listen to Rihanna for a long time, but I have no interest in that kind of music. When he came over to my house the other night, he asked me to watch Rihanna – You Da One with him, so I finally agreed. The video was very shocking to me, and I wanted to get other people’s opinion on it. I went to a site that has music news, and I saw that I was not the only one who was shocked by the video that had assault and murder in the lyrics. She has an incredible voice and I know that she is not glamorizing the killing of anyone, but I am still not sure how I feel about these lyrics in a song. I will keep an open mind about it though and hopefully the next one he shows me won’t be so violent!
