• I grew up having letters from Santa being a normal occurrence at home. Of course, the first time it was given to me and my siblings it was Christmas morning, right after opening gifts. The second time it was for our birthdays. I guess our parents were so thrilled with the letters from Santa that they decided to give it to us so often. I remember the first time I received it on my birthday: it was such a happy day! I thought that the next time we’d hear from Saint Nick is on Christmas again and oh my heart fluttered when I had received letters from santa My siblings also have fond memories of Santa because of our parents. This is why each of us has also given our own kids Santa letters. We want them to experience the same joy we did as children even after we found out he wasn’t real.

  • My family is mostly all from Scotland; it has been a place I have wanted to visit since I was quite young. It just seemed to be “my” kind of place. It is a place full of history, full of stories and people who seemed to be far more “me” than most of the folks where I grew up. I have made a habit of traveling, and I have been many places but as yet I have not actually visited Scotland. All that will change very soon! I will be going to several prominent cities. I still need to research the various glasgow hotels, though. I want a place that is nice, so I can have someplace to relax after a hard day of photo shoots. And why not? I will be making some decent money with the book I am putting together, so a Scottish hotel that will pamper me seems more than reasonable.
